9.10am Peter Kim: Social Business Design – A Global Vision

Peter will provide both context and vision about social business design:

Spiced with examples and experiences, Peter’s presentation will be the focal point of reference throughout the Summit.
About Peter Kim
Peter Kim is recognized as a leading thinker and analyst on social business, which he discusses on his blog, Being Peter Kim. Peter has been quoted in the press by media outlets including CNN, CNBC, NPR, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal.
Peter was previously an analyst at Forrester Research, focusing on the intersection of social technology and marketing strategy while winning awards for best research and top keynote. Earlier at PUMA AG, he managed international marketing operations, e-commerce, and digital marketing. In this role, he grew US revenue by 8x and opened online stores in Europe, built the firm’s internal advertising agency, and created the process for worldwide collaboration.

Josh Scribner champions the adoption of collaborative technology within IBM. Blending IT and Corporate Communications, his work carves a path through many of the social software endeavors of IBM: from the early days of Jams, podcasts, humor and innovation sites, through virtual worlds and C-level walled gardens, and into identity management, Calendaring2.0 and Social Business. Josh’s projects have appeared in The New York Times and Wired Magazine. As a member of the IBM BlueIQ, he currently teaches around the company and advises on technology adoption.

Her designs are award winners: MentorNet – the first national mentoring program for young women entrepreneurs in 2007, was a finalist in the Forrester Groundswell awards in 2008 and won the LearnX Asia Pacific 2010 eLearning & Training award for Best Mentoring Program. Her design for the Institute of Executive Coaching’s learning communities won the LearnX Asia Pacific 2010 eLearning & Training award for Best use of Social Learning Tools.

Dion Hinchcliffe is an internationally recognized business strategist and enterprise architect with an extensive track record of building enterprise-class solutions with clients in the Fortune 500, federal government, and Internet startup community. Dion helps lead the industry by evolving the thinking for next-generation businesses in various social media including ZDNet’s influential Enterprise Web 2.0 Blog and the Web 2.0 Blog. He is extensively published in leading industry periodicals and journals including the Microsoft Architecture Journal, AjaxWorld Magazine, SOA/Web Services Journal, and is currently Editor-in-Chief of Social Computing Journal.
2.25pm Cai Kajer: Collaboration by Design
Cai has deep experience in Business Relationships, Knowledge and Information Management, Collaboration and Organizational and Value Network Analysis. For the past 12 years has worked in both internal and client-facing roles. He has consulted extensively to organizations in both public and private sector, as well as presented conferences in Australia and abroad. Cai was previously a Principal Consultant with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), General Manager (ANZ) for Implementation Management Associates and is a founding partner in Optimice.

Dave Gray is the Founder of XPLANE, the visual thinking company, and a Partner in the Dachis Group, a social business consultancy. Dave’s time is spent researching, sketching and writing on innovation, design, systems thinking, and creativity in business, as well as speaking, coaching and delivering workshops to educators, corporate clients and the public.
His latest book, Gamestorming: A Playbook for Innovators, Rulebreakers, and Changemakers details more than 80 tools and techniques used by the world’s leading innovators. He is also a founding member of VizThink, an international community of Visual Thinkers.

Currently the Learning & Development manager with IBM Australia she has seen first hand how 2.0 can connect and enable employees in a globally integrated enterprise.

About Didier Elzinga
Prior to Culture Amp, Didier Elzinga spent 14 years in film visual effects at world leading visual effects company Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) as a developer, artist, supervisor and finally 5 years as CEO. He is a co-founder of visual software company Rising Sun Research (RSR) [awarded Anthill Cool Company of the Year 2007] and Non Executive Director for RSP, Slingsby Theatre Company, Brink Productions and The Atlassian Foundation. He speaks regularly on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship. He is also on the Board of Tourism Australia.
