A postcard from LEARNTech Asia 2015

This week, Anne has been at the LEARNTech Asia conference.

On Tuesday Anne presented a session on “The Future of Work and Learning: Transforming Learning in the Digital Workplace”, while today she is running a post-conference workshop on “Developing a Strategic Approach to the Future of Work and Learning”.

In the The Future of Work and Learning session, Anne challenged the audience about how well they knew their learners – did they know them “enough to create a few ‘personas’ that describe them?

Microsoft’s “Life On Demand” and Bersin’s “Meet the Modern Learner infographics both appeared to resonate strongly with the audience.

The common theme has been the integration of learning into the workplace with a diverse range of perspectives on using the 70:20:10 framework from Charles Jennings and closing the main conference with Laura Overton providing a sneak preview of the Towards Maturity 2015 Benchmark report being released at 3pm (Sydney time) on Thursday or 6pm (Singapore time).

By all accounts, LEARNTech Asia has been fantastic event.

Watch for more insights next week when Anne returns.
