Business Consultants

Business Consultants

As a consultant you will work as part of a project team with responsibility for client engagements that cover strategy, organisational change, and integrating new social technologies.

You are should be a self-starter who can complete qualitative and quantitative research, engage effectively with different client stakeholders one-on-one and in workshops, and help integrate business strategy with technology experience to develop innovative recommendations. Consultants create project related deliverables of a standard that can be presented to client executives. They also assist with elements of project management and delivery as necessary.

  • Bachelor degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in a corporate environment or a consulting capacity is highly desirable
  • Experience in research and analysis in a business context
  • Exposure to design thinking and user centred design processes, including the ability to develop personas and user journeys
  • Ability to develop information architecture (IA) and lo-fidelity wireframes
  • Drive for making complex interactions simple and large amounts of information easily understood
  • Must have high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Passion for digital technology and interaction design, including social media
  • Demonstrated experience with enterprise social technologies is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills in written and presentation formats
  • Customer orientation.
  • Travel may be required on an interstate or regional basis

User-experience Designers

We’re looking for UX designers with a difference – ones who can contribute to and work with the consulting team in organisational design projects to:
  • Conduct in-depth user research and translate the insights into UX artefacts: personas, user journeys and scenarios.
  • Articulate design intent based on research, provide grounded recommendations and design requirements.
  • Write design briefs and user experience specifications for developers, visual designers and other key stakeholders.
  • Create low-fidelity to high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes.
  • Conduct usability testing, analyse results to inform design improvements.
  • Design, assist and/or facilitate workshops using interactive, design thinking methods.
  • Visual design skills would be a bonus (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Customer orientation.

Web Developers

Web Developer

We work with a range of social technologies – from WordPress and Elgg to enterprise solutions, such as Atlassian Confluence and Jive Software. Your work will involve building Websites, configuring platforms, creating API-based plugins and generally making sure our systems are all running smoothly.

  • Experience in developing for the Web, using common languages (e.g. CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc) and platforms (e.g. WordPress).
  • A demonstrable interest in social software would also be highly desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with cloud based hosting services (Amazon, Rackspace, etc).
  • Experience with trouble shooting and providing technical support.
  • Customer orientation.
  • Good spoken and written English language skills.
  • Visa to work full-time in Australia.
