We’re launching a new Twitter chat for Australian, New Zealander & other APAC-region Community Managers on Thursday May 22, 4-5pm AEST. The inaugural topic will be “Defining Community”. If you’re a community manager – whether internally or externally focused – or just interested in online community and community building, please join us and share your insights.
What’s a Twitter chat?
A real-time Twitter event, usually moderated and/or hosted, held at a specified time and date, and focused on a particular topic or theme. A single hashtag is used to focus tweets into a single stream – in this case, the hashtag is #ACMchat. The host will periodically post questions throughout the scheduled chat to stimulate and guide the discussion.
How do I participate?
All you have to do is follow the hashtag #ACMchat to see the questions and other tweets on the topic, and use the hashtag #ACMchat in your tweet responses.
Why a Twitter chat?
Twitter chats are a great way of connecting to and networking with other Twitter users interested in the same topics as you, building your network and learning as you go.
See you on Twitter!
