Euan Semple

One of the pioneers of the use social technologies in business, Euan Semple now helps people make the best use of these tools in improving their lives and the world around them.  International speaker, and author of ‘Organizations Don’t Tweet – People Do’, he has worked with organisations as diverse as The United Nations, The World Bank, KPMG, BP and BUPA.

Our world is changing fast, but Euan helps us make sense of it because he understands that the core basics remain the same: community, learning, sharing, and interaction. He is a maser storyteller who offers a host of practical tales about how real people can have real conversations with things that really matter to them.

Enterprise social networks and social collaboration tools underpin current workplace trends and the shift towards responsive digital workplaces. They are also a key component of the worldwide movement of “working out loud“. But deriving purpose and meaning from the vast quantities of content, resources and information created in these new digital landscapes can be overwhelming for employees, managers and executives alike.

How can we adapt to new ways of work that benefit both individuals and organisations, in ways that are achievable and measurable?

Join Ripple Effect Group during Work out Loud Week (#wolweek) for a special workshop featuring Euan Semple and Cai Kjaer, together with Ripple Effect Group’s Anne Bartlett-Bragg and James Dellow. The session will explore developing online influence and leadership skills; how to create, identify and leverage opportunities to optimise organisational performance; and where to start with quantifying your organisation’s enterprise social efforts.

Topics covered will include ‘Influence and Networks’; ‘Online Leadership’; and ‘Measurement’.

The workshop will be held Thursday November 20, 2-5pm in the Sydney CBD – venue to be confirmed after registration.
