A TED series that rethinks the way we work
Jakkii says: This is one of those weeks where I really needed some sort of video or article titled ‘how to find inspiration when it’s seriously lacking everywhere you look’ or something rather more pithy. In the 11th hour, so to speak, I came across this blog post that has about 8 short videos embedded on a range of topics, like how we all benefit from paternity leave, or tips for reducing bias in the workplace.
It turned out that this was actually ‘season 4’ in this series, and there’s an additional 25 short videos across the first three seasons that you can review. If you’re like me, some of these won’t be relevant where you are right now (e.g. I’m not a parent, or trying to start a business), but they may in the future, or you might find watching them helps you relate a little more to colleagues and perhaps better equip you to support them in the workplace.
I haven’t made my way through the first three seasons yet, so if you have any favourite videos from the set – or any videos on related topics you think we’d appreciate – let me know! I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Vax rates continue to climb, restrictions continue to ease in some places while others are a bit different – whatever the situation is like where you are, here’s another few things to read and do at home this week.
